I'm Andy Lesser, the owner of Caring Helpdesk. I am a summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Psychology and an honor's graduate of Simmons College with a master of arts. I also spent a semester at BU School of Law.
I am not a licensed therapist, but I have significant experience studying and researching in the field, including a three-year internship at the Trauma Interventions Research Center at Dartmouth College, where I assisted with research on Complex PTSD. I also worked for several years at the HIV Drug Assistance Program in Boston, helping provide free copayments and insurance coverage to low-income Massachussetts residents living with HIV/AIDS.
My company has over ten years' experience helping small business owners with their online marketing, social media, and online auctions. I am based outside D.C. in Maryland, but our services are all provided remotely. This work brings me into daily contact with dozens of small business owners. Through both my professional and academic experiences, I have developed a broad range of skills and areas of knowledge that I bring to my practice of meeting with people.
